In 2003, I initiated the ZEM working group, with its own drop-in clinic at Vienna General.

I have headed this special clinic ever since. ZEM stands for: (Zysten) Cysts, Endometriosis, Myoma. Our approach to treating these conditions centres on minimally-invasive surgery, also known as keyhole surgery, endoscopy, or laparotomy. The aim is to preserve the uterus. With this approach as a basis, a scientific theme has developed, with its own working group. This can act as a platform for possible further studies.
